Code of conduct

The CSVC Code of Conduct requires all employees to uphold integrity, comply with the law, and aim for sustainable development goals (ESG). In addition to committing to a safe, equal working environment and a customer-centric approach, the company strictly prohibits any acts of bribery and demands strict protection of company assets and confidential information. Finally, CSVC strongly encourages everyone to proactively report any misconduct, and such reports must be transparent and clearly state the reporter's identity.

Irregular Business Conduct Reporting

Integrity is the most important core value of China Steel And Nippon Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company (“CSVC")'s culture, and also a top priority of CSVC business principles. CSVC is committed to act ethically in all aspects of our business, and will not condone any form of corruption and fraud. If you find or suspect any unethical conduct or breach of CSVC's ethical standards by a CSVC employee or anyone representing CSVC, please contact us. Your report will be directly forwarded to the Independent Designated Officers.

As it is essential for CSVC to have all critical information in order to be able to effectively evaluate and investigate the irregular business conduct, the report made by you should provide as much detail and be as specific as possible. CSVC encourages you to disclose your identity as well. Any concerns or irregularities expressed anonymously will not be considered.

Reminder:

  1. CSVC may use your personal information, including name, telephone number and email address, to facilitate investigation or to contact you.
  2. You may not act maliciously or knowingly and willfully make a false statement. You shall assume liability for the allegations that prove to have been made maliciously or knowingly to be false.
  3. To promptly act to investigate and/or resolve the issue, please provide as much detailed information and documents as possible. Please note that if the information or documents are insufficient, the investigation may be hampered.
