“CSVC – Journey to the Green Future” 2025

On August 24, China Steel And Nippon Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company (CSVC) successfully organized the tree-planting festival “CSVC – Journey to the Green Future” at the Bình Châu - Phước Bửu Nature Reserve, planting over 3,000 trees to help restore natural forest ecosystems and conserve biodiversity.
The program was implemented through the collaboration of CSVC, the JOY Foundation, and the Bình Châu – Phước Bửu Nature Reserve Management Board, with the active participation of more than 144 CSVC employees and volunteers from partners including Vietinbank and Toàn Thắng.
In addition to tree planting, volunteers also enjoyed guided forest walks and learned about the structure of tropical forests under the instruction of experienced rangers.
The “CSVC – Journey to the Green Future” not only left many memorable highlights but also marked a significant step forward in CSVC’s sustainable development journey, spreading the spirit of environmental protection to the wider community and society.

CSVC ORGANIZES “HEALTH CONTEST 2025”

On July 31, China Steel And Nippon Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company (CSVC) held the “Health Contest 2025” with the theme Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The contest marked the launch of an annual series of activities aimed at equipping and reinforcing employees’ first aid knowledge and skills.
The event featured nine teams from various departments, along with the management board, trade union representatives, and over 60 supporters, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
According to the contest rules, each team had up to 15 minutes to complete two rounds: practical skills and Q&A. All performances were evaluated directly by a panel of professional first-aid judges, ensuring fairness and accurately reflecting each team’s abilities.
At the conclusion of the event, the Organizing Committee presented awards to the outstanding teams while acknowledging the efforts of all participants in practicing first aid skills. Interactive activities for supporters were also seamlessly incorporated, adding excitement while effectively promoting the “SAFETY FIRST” message throughout the company.
The “Health Contest 2025” went beyond providing first aid knowledge and skills - it encouraged employees to proactively respond to emergency situations, contributing to the creation of a safe and sustainable working environment at CSVC.

PROGRAM OF FREE MEDICAL EXAMINATION, MEDICATION DISTRIBUTION, AND GIFT-GIVING PROGRAM FOR DISADVANTAGED AND ELDERLY PEOPLE OF MY XUAN WARD, PHU MY CITY IN 2025

On the morning of June 21, 2025, China Steel And Nippon Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company (CSVC), in coordination with Ba Ria Hospital and the Youth Union of My Xuan Ward, held a free medical examination, medicine distribution, along with the donation of 200 gift packages totaling approximately 50 million VND. The initiative targeted disadvantaged residents, especially elderly individuals living alone in My Xuan Ward, Phu My City. Aiming to spread the spirit of “Mutual support and compassion”, the program not only provided timely healthcare services to the local community but also demonstrated the company’s practical care for disadvantaged individuals. This is one of CSVC’s yearly community activities, through which the company reaffirms its commitment to accompanying the local community toward the goal of sustainable development, while promoting social responsibility and humanitarian values in all production and business activities.

AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS WITH GOOD ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

On May 6 and 8, 2025, China Steel & Nippon Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company (CSVC) in collaboration with the Phu My City Youth Union held a scholarship awarding program for disadvantaged students at four schools in Phu My city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Specifically, 120 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, were awarded to students at Trương Công Định, Chu Văn An, Võ Văn Kiệt, and Phan Chu Trinh Secondary Schools. Each school received 30 scholarships, aimed at encouraging and supporting the students to overcome difficulties and continue striving for academic excellence. At the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Murayama Hiroki, representative of CSVC, emphasized: "The scholarship is not only a material support but also a spirit of encouragement, providing the students with strength to continue their educational journey. This is the responsibility and commitment of CSVC in supporting the development of the local community."

DONATION OF 40 COMPUTER SETS TO SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN BA RIA VUNG TAU PROVINCE

On the morning of May 6, 2025, at Trương Công Định Secondary School (Châu Pha Commune, Phu My City), CSVC and its grassroots Trade Union organized a program to donate 40 desktop computers to support the school’s infrastructure for teaching. This activity is part of the annual charitable program "Computers for Students" – a deeply meaningful initiative that the company has maintained for many years. The program is funded through the company’s budget and contributions from the grassroots Trade Union. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tsai Wei-Heng, General Manager of the Management Division, shared: “We believe that technology is an important bridge helping students access knowledge more effectively and creatively. We hope that these devices will serve as useful tools, supporting students in their studies and nurturing their dreams for the future.” Through this activity, CSVC once again affirms its commitment to contributing positively to the community, particularly in the field of education. In the coming time, the company plans to continue implementing meaningful programs, spreading the spirit of "mutual support" to many disadvantaged situations in the province.

CSVC Spreads Warmth in Lunar New Year 2025: Over 90 Tet Gift Packages Given to Underprivileged Families in Chau Pha commune, Phu My town

In celebration of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, China Steel and Nippon Steel Vietnam JSC (CSVC), in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of Phu My Town, organized a heartfelt program to distribute over 90 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged families and those in need across Phu My Town. The program brought meaningful gifts to 90 households in five hamlets: Tan Ninh, Tan Le, Tan Ro, Tan Long, and Bau Phuong, all located in Chau Pha Commune, Phu My Town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. Each gift package, valued at 1 million VND, included 500,000 VND in cash and essential goods, with a total program budget reaching 90 million VND. This initiative is part of the “Compassionate Tet” program for Lunar New Year 2025, jointly carried out by CSVC and the Red Cross Society of Phu My Town. The program seeks to foster community solidarity and bring the warmth of the New Year to families in difficult circumstances. Through its “Compassionate Tet” program, CSVC has illuminated the values of humanity and kindness, spreading love and hope within the community - true to the essence of a joyful and united spring season.
